You will have the entire house and property (both units) to yourself. Only registered guests are allowed, unless specifically agreed during the booking process. We encourage taking walks on our property; however, please be careful not to wander into our neighbors’ backyards in the surrounding area.

This is a rural desert location. A car is required to get around. Four-wheel drive is not necessary, but some roads may be unpaved and can develop ruts after rain—please drive slowly.

✹ SOCIAL MEDIA: If you plan on sharing your experience on social media, please mention us!

✹ CELL SERVICE: Cell phone service availability and quality in the high desert varies by service provider. This is particularly true in the more remote areas of Joshua Tree, Pipes Canyon, and Pioneertown. Please be prepared by enabling Wifi calling or downloading a VOIP program.

✹ ROAD CONDITIONS: Many roads are dirt, so please take it slow. A four-wheel drive car is not required, but note that roads will often have ruts, particularly after a rain.

✹ PROFESSIONAL CLEANING: Every Homestead Modern home is professionally cleaned between stays by experienced independent cleaning teams. After cleaning, each home is inspected by a member of our own local staff before the next guest arrives, providing an additional level of quality control and helping ensure the home is clean, prepared, and guest-ready.
